Palm trees

California has too many palm trees. I think they're useless plants that provide little shade, or anything else of value. We all know that some varieties are useful: they produce fruit in the form of dates an coconuts. Sadly, I've never seen too few of those. Here are a few that I've seen on my outings.

There's the well maintained office block variety.























There's also the very common neglected by city council variety.























Then there's the low maintenence cell phone company variety.
