Kings Beach

Walking up the headland past where this photo was taken, the view changes slightly. The Glass House Mountains become visible in the background. The Caloundra bar is also visible: that's the white patch of water beyond the rock wall that marks the entrance of the Pummicestone Passage into the Pacific Ocean. Bribie Island is on the left.

Take note of those scrappy looking trees. There'll be more on them later.
